The WoMFest2009 is an official event, endorsed by the General Consulate of Mexico in Vancouver, ProMEXICO and the National Association of Vintners. WoMFest is also the first event where the most representative Mexican wineries get to show their finest produce outside of Mexico.

We are very proud to present you with another option to the traditional Mexican beverage, now you can know Mexico not only through Tequila, but for its fine wines, compared only to the best in the world.

Mexico's wine tradition is not new; back in 1597 in the central valley of Parras was established the first winery of America: Casa Madero. Ever since those days, due to the unique terroir conditions of its different valleys, Mexico has been producing fine red, white and sparkling wines, recognized with the highest prizes on the most prestigious international competitions.

And now, for the first time, you will have the opportunity to taste and learn about Mexican wines, the most important wineries, terroir conditions and many more interesting subjects.
